Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Avocado 5-Year Export Strategy (2027-2031) (AV26001).
The objectives of this work are to:
- Deliver a practical, evidence based export strategy that identifies priority growth opportunities and material risks for Australian product under current and expected market conditions, including supply volatility and intensifying global competition, and articulates the strategic responses required over the next five years
- Establish updated five year export targets to guide export development and investment prioritisation, building on demonstrated export performance and aligning targets with market maturity, market access constraints and system capability
- Guide market access prioritisation and export readiness by defining clear market access and protocol priorities, and specifying the evidence, capability and system requirements necessary to progress access and expand trade in priority markets
- Provide a coordinated framework for industry investment and delivery, ensuring alignment between R&D levy and marketing levy investments as an integrated system spanning market access, product quality and handling, industry capability development, trade engagement and demand creation
